Safety Strategy and Regulation
Keeping safety proactive, intelligent, and evidence-led
The Safety Strategy and Regulation division leads ST Vic’s risk-based approach to safety. The division works across four key areas — Safety Insights, Programs, Assurance, and the Safety Inspectorate — to develop and deliver regulatory strategies that prevent harm and improve outcomes across the transport system.

Business Services is the engine room behind ST Vic’s operations. Bringing together IT, Finance, and Legal Services, this division ensures we operate efficiently, securely, and in alignment with our strategic goals. Whether it’s digital infrastructure, sound financial planning, or legal governance, we enable innovation and integrity across the organisation.

On the job: Safety Inspectorate
Our Safety Inspectors are the frontline of transport safety – working in the field to engage with transport operators, assess risks, and help improve systems that keep Victorians safe.
