Risk of failure to brake actuators fitted to Hyundai buses

The fractures have been located along the threaded section of the mounting tube which may be obscured by the locking nut. There is no information to suggest that this fault is limited to just this Hyundai model. Operators of these buses should have their buses inspected immediately.

Risk of fire in roof mounted bus air conditioning unit

On 24 May 2015, a fire started in the roof void area of a bus and quickly spread destroying the bus. A forensic engineer’s examination of the bus revealed that the positive and negative electrical cables to the air conditioning unit fan were installed incorrectly. They were in a cross over configuration, which caused the two wires to fuse.
