Notice under section 208 of the Marine Safety Act 2010 specifying an activity exclusion zone

I, Cameron Toy, Director Maritime Safety acting in my capacity as delegate of Safe Transport Victoria, pursuant to section 208 of the Marine Safety Act 2010, by this notice prohibits:

• all persons, other than members, officers or personnel of Victoria Police, State Emergency Service, Victorian Fisheries Authority, Strathbogie Shire Council and Safe Transport Victoria, and
• all vessels, other than those operated by Victoria Police, State Emergency Service, Victorian Fisheries Authority, Strathbogie Shire Council and Safe Transport Victoria, and vessels expressly authorised by members, officers or personnel of Victoria Police, State Emergency Service, Victorian Fisheries Authority, Strathbogie Shire Council and Safe Transport Victoria,

from entering, or remaining in, the following State waters:

• Lake Nagambie; and
• Goulburn River from Chinaman’s Bridge downstream to the Goulburn Weir

This notice comes into effect immediately, extending the previous notices published in the Government Gazette S 552 dated 16 October 2022 and S 605 dated 27 October 2022, and remains in effect until 12.00 pm on 25 November 2022.
