The Boating Vic trip preparation website and app hosts ramp camera images from a number of boat ramps and ramp car parks.
Boating Vic launched in November 2019 with cameras around Port Phillip Bay at the following ramps:
- Rye
- Geelong Limeburners Point
- Clifton Springs
- St Helens
- Altona
- Patterson River.
The ramp cam images are refreshed every five minutes.
Other ramp pages on Boating Vic contain photographs of the facility where available. To provide a photo of a facility for use on Boating Vic, email contact@boating.vic.gov.au.

Boating Vic provides targeted information relating to more than 400 boat ramps and launching locations across Victoria. The app includes ramp and carpark vision, along with localised information such as marine weather forecasts, warnings, notifications, facility information and safety advice from a range of agencies.
