The 2014 Victorian boating behaviour report, commissioned by Maritime Safety Victoria (MSV), is now available.
The report, conducted by Ipsos Research on behalf of MSV, seeks to identify Victorian boaters’ safety behaviour, the effectiveness of MSV’s safety campaigns, and boaters’ satisfaction with waterways and facilities. The study also looks into the purpose, frequency, location and duration of recreational boating trips across the state
The findings will help MSV to proactively shape its regulation and risk management strategies, educational programs, investigations and compliance operations, operational policy, and other undertakings.
